A Customer Service Nightmare: My Warning Before You Buy ðŸ˜
I’m writing this review as a warning about my online shopping experience. My advice? Shop elsewhere. It's a terrible company to purchase from if you have any issues with your glasses. They will gladly take your money but when it's time for them to fix the issue, it seems impossible. The business is pretty much fully automated. When you finally get in touch with someone in India, they are extremely rude and will end the call when they think it needs to be ended. They couldn't care less. Why? Because there's no one else to talk to in order to file a complaint. I will never do business with glassesusa again. It feels like you're being scammed. That feeling of no way to get help is what compelled me to leave this review and try one last time to have a conversation with their customer service.
Customer: I'm calling because there's a problem with my order, and the last representative I spoke with hung up on me. Is this standard practice?
CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for your previous experience. That is certainly not the service we aim to provide. Could I have your name and order number to see how I can help you today?
Customer: It’s [Order Number]. But honestly, what's the point? I feel completely scammed. It feels impossible to get a real person to fix anything.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I assure you I'm here to resolve this. I see your order details. Please allow me to review the notes and find a solution for you. I will not end this call until we have a path forward.
Customer: A path forward? I just want the glasses I paid for to be correct. If you can't do that, then I want my money back.
CS Rep: Of course. I see the issue noted here, and we can absolutely process a free replacement with the correct specifications or offer you a full refund. Which would you prefer?
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
