Express Shipping Nightmare: My Order Never Left the Warehouse! 😤


Let me share a truly terrible online shopping experience to hopefully save you from the same headache. I recently placed an order for frames only, without a prescription, and explicitly chose and paid for express shipping. I received an email on June 25th confirming the frames had shipped. Two days later, my tracking information still shows only a label was created, with no actual movement from the carrier and absolutely no estimated delivery date. This is infuriating when you've paid extra for speed, only to find your order stuck in limbo. I felt utterly compelled to reach out to customer service to understand why my express shipping was a complete waste of money.

Customer: I paid for express shipping, received a shipping confirmation two days ago, and my tracking still says only a label was created. Where are my frames? This isn't express at all. CS Rep: I apologize for the confusion and the delay you're experiencing. Let me look into your order for you. Could you please provide your order number? Customer: It's #12345. I paid extra for express shipping for a reason, and now it seems I've just thrown money away for nothing. When will it actually ship? CS Rep: Thank you. I see the status. It appears the shipping label was generated, but the package hasn't been scanned by the carrier yet. Sometimes there's a slight delay between label creation and carrier pickup. We are actively monitoring this. Customer: A "slight delay" after paying for express shipping? I need an actual update or a refund for the express shipping. This is unacceptable. CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration. We will certainly refund the express shipping fee to your original payment method. I'll also escalate this internally to see if we can get an immediate update or push for carrier pickup.

The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap and wasting money on express shipping that doesn't deliver.
